At the 2026 FBNL-MR conference held in Lille, the GERM Executive Committee was delighted to present the 2026 Jean-Nicolas Dumez Thesis Prize to Mehdi Soussi-Thérond, for his work "Enzyme kinetics study by D-DNP: methodological developments and application to metabolomics".

Mehdi was able to present his PhD research and give an overview of his postdoctoral work to all the participants at the FBNL-MR 2026 during a plenary session.

Candidates who defended their theses in 2025 in France in the field of magnetic resonance (NMR, EPR, MRI) were shortlisted on the basis of their application, and the three finalists then produced a video presenting their thesis work to the community. You can find here the link to the video presented by Mehdi Soussi-Therond as well as the videos of the other two finalists (Charlotte Bocquelet and Lyns Verel Che Dji).

Well done to all the candidates, and a special congratulations to the three finalists!
